_Klondike steakhouse first appeared in Expo 1967. It was located at LaRonde right in Fort Edmonton. Then a second location in Ville Saint-Laurent both were famous at the time. The restaurant was named after the town in the Yukon territory where the Gold rush happened in the late 1800's. It has been 18 years since the last Klondike operated in the city of Montreal. Way before most of the steakhouses operating presently existed the Klondike. Western theme and laid back, with steaks grilled to perfection.
